In the first half of 2023, Shanghai Port has set several new records, including the highest number of containers handled, the largest volume of cargo, and the most efficient handling process.
According to statistics released by Shanghai Port Group Co., Ltd., the port handled a total of 478.9 million tons of cargo during the first half of this year,Campeonato Brasileiro Action which is a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. The highest number of containers handled was 66.6 million, marking a 12% increase from the previous year. In addition, the port's handling efficiency also improved significantly, with the average processing time for one container reduced by over 1 hour compared to last year.
