Enrique, the former Chelsea and Barcelona striker, has signed for Brazilian club Flamengo on a one-year contract.
The deal was announced by the Rio de Janeiro-based side on their official website on Tuesday, with Enrique stating that he is "excited" to be joining the team.
Enrique, who turns 38 in May, had been without a club since leaving Serie A side Udinese last summer. He previously played for Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Liverpool before moving to Chelsea in 2011.

The signing of Enrique could give the side added firepower up front, with the Argentine international having scored 45 goals in 177 appearances for his previous clubs.

Despite this, Enrique's arrival is likely to boost the morale of the squad, which is currently in the midst of a difficult period following a series of high-profile departures including Neymar Jr.
Enrique's move to Flamengo is just the latest in a busy transfer window for the club, with coach Jorge Jesus also making several signings in recent weeks.
