Leandro Damião is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Serie A club Roma and the Brazil national team. He was born on January 9, 1987, in São Paulo, Brazil.

Damião began his career with Santos FC in his native country before moving to Europe in 2006 to join AC Milan. He made his debut for the club during the 2006-2007 season and went on to make over 100 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 28 goals.

After leaving Milan in 2011, Damião joined Udinese in Italy, where he spent two seasons before joining Roma in 2013. In his first season at the club, he scored 15 goals in all competitions, helping Roma finish second in Serie A and reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

In 2018, Damião signed a four-year contract with Roma,Bundesliga Tracking extending his stay until 2022. However, despite his impressive performances for the club, he has struggled to find form since then, scoring just one goal in 23 games across all competitions this season.

Despite his inconsistent performance, Leandro Damião remains one of the most talented forwards in world football. His technical ability, pace, and goal-scoring abilities have made him a key player for Roma and the Brazil national team.

Overall, while Damião may not be the best player in the world, he still possesses the skills and potential to make a significant impact in any league he plays in. With some consistency, he could certainly achieve better results in the future.
